The Trustees considered a record number of applications at their most recent meeting. Many congratulations to the 15 people who were awarded Conservation Training Bursaries towards their fees for the academic year 2012-13 and will be studying on courses at all the major conservation education institutions in the UK.
With great regret the Trustees report that our Chairman, William Plowden, died suddenly on June 26th 2010. William was Anna's older brother and was instrumental in establishing the Trust in her memory. He led the Trust with great enthusisam and energy and very successfully for the past 11 years.
Icon (Institute of Conservation), the Anna Plowden Trust, and the Digital Preservation Coalition are very pleased to announce the winners for the 2010 Conservation Awards. The Awards were presented at a ceremony and held at the Royal Institution of Great Britain, London on 1 December 2010.
