At the recent APT Trustees' meeting we considered the last round of Clothworkers' Foundation/Plowden CPD grant applications of 2017. Eleven grants were awarded to conservators for attendance at courses and conferences in the UK, Japan, Mexico, Canada and Belgium. 

Totals for the full year? An amazing 54 grants to conservators from 27 institutions and 13 private practices enabling them to attend a total of 39 different courses and conferences around the world!!

Application deadlines for 2018 will be: 

January 15th
March 26th
June 12th (for both CPDs and for APT Scholarship applications for students on full time conservation courses)
and September 17th

APT Trusts and the profession are very grateful to The Clothworkers' Foundation for making it possible for so many conservators to develop their skills, share their knowledge and widen their networks.
